What We Do Not Take On
We don't do new home construction installs tied to a builder's framing schedule, and we don't touch commercial rolling steel doors or dock levelers - that's a different trade with different parts suppliers. If your door is a custom architectural piece with a wood species we can't source locally, we'll tell you that up front rather than guess at a price. We also won't quote a repair over the phone sight unseen when the symptom could be three different things - a bent track, a dying opener board, or a spring that's about to let go. That's not us being difficult, it's us not wanting to charge you for a part that wasn't the problem. Most of the housing stock in this area went up between 1953 and 2010, with the bulk from the 1980s and 90s, so we see a predictable range of hardware. When something falls outside that - a door nobody's made parts for in decades - we'll say so instead of forcing a fix that won't hold.
What We Are Called Out For
The calls that fill our schedule are torsion springs that snapped overnight, openers that grind but don't lift, and tracks knocked out of alignment by a car bumper or a winter gust. Given the 1980s-90s build era that dominates across the 24 named areas we work in, a lot of these doors are original equipment nearing the end of a normal spring lifecycle - not broken from abuse, just worn out on schedule. We also get called for rollers that have seized in their tracks and cables that have frayed where they wrap the drum. Heat here runs moderate rather than extreme, so we don't see the warped-panel failures you'd get in a harsher climate band, but nylon rollers and lubricant still dry out faster than people expect. If a homeowner's door is sagging on one side, it's almost always a cable or a bottom bracket, not the opener - and sorting out which saves a wasted trip.
Getting Hold of Us
Call (817) 985-1241 and tell us what the door is doing - won't open, won't close, makes a bang, sags on one side. That's enough for us to bring the right spring size and the right opener parts instead of a truck stocked for guesswork. We're based at 14005 FM 730 N, Azle, TX 76020, which keeps drive times reasonable for Azle itself and the nearer communities like Reno and Lakeside. You can also find us at our homepage for more on how we work. If you're farther out toward Paradise or Roanoke, say so when you call - distance affects when we can get there, and we'd rather tell you a real window than a guess.
